Origin: Denmark.

Botanical characteristics: It is an evergreen conifer, with a columnar and dense growth habit. It has very small, scale-shaped leaves of a beautiful green colour, very fragrant and close to the twigs. It is a monoecious plant with male and female inflorescences separated but on the same plant. The female cones are composed of small scales.

Agronomic and environmental characteristics: It prefers deep, moist but well-drained soils. It resists cold.

Use: It is used as single specimen, in groups, in hedges. It is used for topiary, too. It is perfect for pots and planters.
