Origin: Netherlands.
Botanical characteristics: It is a small- medium-sized cultivar, less thorny, with narrow and upright crown, then rounded. Leaves are deep yellow-gold, yellow-green in summer. The flowering is not abundant.
Agronomic and environmental characteristics: It adapts to any soil type, but prefers calcareous soils. It has an high resistance to drought, salinity, air pollution.
Use: It is a very ornamental plant for the colouring of the leaves. It is used in parks and gardens as single species, in shrub borders, in mixed hedges. It is ideal for urban green areas.
