Origin: Japan.

Botanical characteristics: It is an erect, rhizomatous Bamboo with thin stems, olive-green when young then light beige. Leaves are lanceolate to oblong, dark green on the upper side, silvery-grey below, up to 35 cm long.

Agronomic and environmental characteristics: It is good on fertile, moist but well-drained soil with sun or partial shade exposure. It has a good resistance to drought and cold.

Use: It is used as ornamental plant to create groves, for hedges and barriers and in pot. It is suitable for indoor spaces.
