Botanical characteristics: It is a miniature cultivar of Pittosporum tobira. It is a thick shrub, which reaches 1 mt in height and has a rounded and spreading shape with the lower brunches touching the ground. The flowering is occasional and poor.
Agronomic and environmental characteristics: It adapts to all type of well-drained soils, including the dry and sandy ones. It has an high resistance to saltiness, winds, drought and air pollution. It requires full sun exposure.
Use: It is used as ornamental plant in parks and garden. In addition, it can be used in flowerbeds, borders and escarpments. It is ideal for cities and urban green areas, in pots and flower boxes.
