Botanical characteristics: It is a medium-sized deciduous shrub that is vigorous and erect, whose outward branches are slightly drooping. Leaves are opposite, ovate, slightly pointed and up to 8 cm long. The early-summer-blooming is very abundant and bears fragrant, cream-white double flowers that are 5 cm broad in racemes.
Agronomic-environmental characteristics: It is suitable for any well-drained soil with full sun or partial shade exposure. It is able to adapt to poor and calcareous soils.
Use: It is used in parks and gardens individually, in groups or in mixed hedges.
