Origin: Japan, China.
Botanical characteristics: It can be a large evergreen shrub or a small evergreen tree with erect growth habit and slow growth. Its leaves are dark green, glossy, oblong-lanceolate, the margins are entire or slightly raw-toothed, 10-12 cm long. It blooms in autumn and sometimes also in spring. The small white flowers are gathered in small bunches, fragrant in the distance.
