Origin: China.
Botanical characteristics: It is a deciduous shrub having a very vigorous stem growth and arching green branches. The leaves are lanceolate, highly toothed and bright green. The late-spring-blooming is abundant and the flowers are solitary, single or double and are golden-yellow. The blooming is perpetual.
Agronomic and environmental characteristics: It prefers fertile and well drained soils with full sun or partial shade exposure.
Use: It is cultivated as an ornamental plant and is mainly used in mixed hedges.
