Botanical characteristics: It is dwarf evergreen shrub . It is prostrate, about 50 cm high and fast-growing. It has beautiful large golden yellow flowers that bloom in early summer. They consist of 5 petals and a tuft of long stamens. Leaves are dark green. Their shape range from ovate to elliptic.
Agronomic and environmental characteristics: It doesn’t need any specific type of soil. It tolerates poor and dry grounds, both in full sun and in partial shade. It tolerates shade, but it has less flowers. It has an high resistance to pollution.
Use: It can be used in parks and gardens and is excellent for borders and to cover flower beds and slopes. In urban areas it is suitable for traffic dividers and the consolidation of slopes and riverbanks.
