Botanical characteristics: It is a ruby-red-coloured cultivar with leaves that become bronze-green in summer and then pink in autumn.
Agronomic and environmental characteristics: It is cultivated in Europe as an ornamental plant. It is suitable for all soils, even dry and calcareous. It has an high resistance to drought, air pollution and salinity.
Use: It is mainly used as isolated plant in small gardens. It is an interesting species for urban areas because of its high resistance to pollution.
