Origin: Scotland.
Botanical characteristics: It is a plant with a columnar habit and a straight trunk with branches from the base. Branches are erect, close to the main trunk. They tend to widen when they grow older.
Agronomic and environmental characteristics: It prefers deep, fresh and fertile soils, calcareous ones as well. It needs cool and wet summers.
Use: It is ideal for small gardens and can be used as single plant.
