Origin: China.

Botanical characteristics: It is a deciduous upright shrub with rounded crown.
Leaves are ovate-lanceolate, dark green, up to 15 cm long. In winter it produces on bare branches an abundant blooming of small fragrant funnel-shaped creamy yellow flowers grouped in globular inflorescences and covered with silky white down.

Agronomic and environmental characteristics: It prefers rich, moist but well drained soil in full sun.

Use: It is used for the winter flowering and the scent of flowers, as a single plant and in shrub borders, assembled with other shrubs and low-lying plants. It is ideal for small gardens.
