Botanical characteristics: It is a cultivar with red-purple leaves that darken in summer and then turn bright red in autumn. Flowers are reddish as well.
Agronomic and environmental characteristics: It can be found in any soil as long as it is well-drained. It lives in dry and calcareous terrains, too. In full sun.
Use: It is decorative because of the colour of the foliage. It is used both in public and private greenery, as single plant and in groups or in mixed hedges as well.
