very demanding in terms of soil, prefering fresh soils, loose, moist but well drained and slightly acidic, do not tolerate heavy soils with stagnant water
and limestone. They prefer a position of partial shade, sheltered from strong
winds. They are sensitive to frost.
Use: It is mostly used as an ornamental plant both alone and in groups, both in large parks and in small gardens. To be put it in the meadows, in flower beds or rock gardens;it is also suitable for growing in pots and planters.
