Origin: Central Regions of the United States.
Botanical characteristics: Evergreen coniferae with glaucous reflections that can reach 30 mt in height. Its
cones from 7.5 to 12 cm long can take color purple or yellow-green. The needle-like leaves flattened, glaucous-green on both sides are quite long and if crushed, give off the
scent of lemon.
Agronomic-environmental characteristics: Plant that adapts to poor soils and dry and resistant to sudden changes.
Use: Isolated or in groups in large parks.
